This won't go well with Sony.... why shouldn't PS3 developers feel superior? I haven't seen a game look more stunning than Killzone, Uncharted, or MGS4... and what does 'developing' a game for the PS3 or 360 have to do with market penetration?
Just about what I'd expect. There are a lot of RE5 fanboys who will be more forgiven, though. Gameplay took some getting used to, and the graphics were just alright- I played MGS4 after I played the RE5 demo to compare, and MGS4 still looks about as good as it'll get on consoles.... until Killzone 2, God of War 3, and Uncharted 2 arrive, that is.
Not if YOU the consumer have to shell out $60.00 for the game. I'd rather have a general consensus than one opinion, though. Although, I do value the likes of IGN's opinion very much.
The problem with those scores of 90's and one or two 80's is that they only review the single player campaign. They don't take into account the strong multiplayer offering- which is what most people buy FPS' for. Gamespot, Giant Bomb, and a few other review sites aren't even going to post reviews until the spend a good amount of time with the multiplayer.
Reviewing just one aspect of a game is like reviewing Halo's generic campaign or COD4's 5-6 hour campaign and forgettable stor...

It means that combat is more dynamic and cover spots are always changing. Might also mean some unique puzzle solving. It's an interesting and unique take on the 3rd person shooter genre.
Can't say I didn't see this coming...

What's up with the people disagreeing with me? I think ya might be confusing art direction with graphics because I don't know how someone can say these don't look good. Those comparing the games' graphics with GOW 1 and 2.... art direction /= graphics.
That one picture with the Kratos close up already looks better than Uncharted. Look at all the details in his stomach and face. Also, the pics with the combat stuff have amazing environments. Is that Cronos in that one pic?

I really don't see how this has any relevance to Gears. Both developers are great at what they do.

What's to see? Halo Wars starting off on the wrong foot with a 7/10. Killzone 2 averaging a 93 with 40 reviews on Metacritic, Race Pro has a 68 on Metacritic, Ninja Blade... yeah.... and I wouldn't hold my breath for Star Ocean. Go cry some more....
